Cape Fruiteezi is the new way to eat fresh fruit

Officially launched in London today, Cape Fruiteezi is a single fruit snack product which is poised to revolutionise school lunch boxes and challenge the nutritional profile of the humble snack in retail and food service outlets throughout the country.

Made from 100 per cent fresh, golden pineapple, Capespan Fruiteezi is fun to eat, very tasty and, above all, extremely good for you.

Cut from whole, fresh pineapple, Cape Fruiteezi is in tune with current thinking on healthy eating. It contains no additives or chemicals and it offers a simple and fun way for both adults and children to keep in line with the government's recommended five portions of fruit per day. One 80gm Fruiteezi stick is 20 per cent of the five-a-day requirement.

Cape Fruiteezi brings together the experience and expertise of two leading players in the UK retail and foodservice industries - Capespan Limited and Superior Food Ltd.

Capespan conceptualised the Fruiteezi concept and has placed considerable brand equity behind the product which will carry its name.

Superior Food Ltd brings its wealth of experience in the development, manufacturing and distribution of fresh-cut fruit to the project and will be producing Fruiteezi from a brand new, multi-million-pound, state-of-the-art factory in Middlesex.

Cape Fruiteezi is a chilled product with a seven-day shelf-life. It has unique high-impact packaging designed to catch the eye which not only guarantees perfect ripeness but allows the consumer to simply squeeze up and eat. There is 100 per cent yield and no wastage.
